UI Design & Digital Experience

While UI design is not my primary career focus, this work strengthens my ecommerce skill set by informing how I evaluate usability, accessibility, and interaction patterns within digital commerce experiences.

Digital Registration

Digital Registration was a conceptual mobile experience designed during ITI’s Explorer Program, where I collaborated with the UI/UX team to explore usability considerations within a regulated digital environment. The work focused on mapping user flows for login, vehicle selection, and registration management.

Through critique sessions and iterative feedback, I learned to evaluate digital experiences beyond visual design, including physical device constraints, navigation reach, and interaction clarity. These insights directly inform how I assess ecommerce workflows and customer friction.

Presenting the prototype to internal teams and leadership reinforced the importance of collaboration and iteration when designing scalable digital tools.

Bell of the Bar explored visual consistency, spacing, and navigation patterns across devices. Starting with wireframes and low-fidelity mockups, I refined interaction elements to ensure clarity and cohesion as the design scaled from mobile to tablet.

Identifying inconsistencies in navigation reinforced the value of design systems and repeatable patterns. This experience supports my ecommerce work by sharpening how I evaluate consistency and usability across digital touchpoints.

Completed as part of the Google UX Design Certification, this project focused on improving accessibility, navigation, and organization within a hypothetical ecommerce app. Research identified usability gaps that guided wireframes and iterative refinement.

Design decisions included adjusting brand colors for accessibility compliance, refining spacing to reduce cognitive load, and simplifying navigation patterns. These considerations directly translate to how I approach ecommerce optimization and customer experience evaluation.
